KATSURA Koharudanji
– RAKUGO –

The main performer, KATSURA Koharudanji, has performed in over 20 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Belgium, Norway, South Korea, Russia, Finland, Turkey, and Canada, with his unique subtitling system, to rave reviews in each country. He was the only rakugo performer to perform at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and Carnegie Hall. He was also appointed by the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs as an “Envoy for Cultural Exchange” and was selected by Newsweek magazine as one of the “100 Japanese People the World Respects”.

Ikkaisai Kyoujiro
– Japanese Traditional Magic –
Tradition and Technique New Creation of Japanese Culture and Art! The one and only magician representing the Kansai region with his brilliant creative illusions skillfully woven with the ancient Japanese magic trick, wazuma.
A unique performance that only Kyojiro, a magician who attracts media attention, can deliver.

Showkyokusai Tencho
– Japanese Traditional Magic –
She has mastered a wide variety of magic techniques from table magic to illusions, from the traditional Japanese Wazuma to Western magic. She has performed in Paris for a month, appeared at a magic convention in Hawaii, and won many prizes at contests.
Her specialty, “Floating Butterfly,” is said to be one of the best Japanese magic tricks.

Horaiya Banri
– Japanese Traditional Juggling –
He is a member of the Horaiya family, a prestigious acrobatic troupe of the traditional performing art of Daikagura, and has performed at Shinsaibashi Kadoza, Tenma Tenjin Hanjotei, and other yose theaters, as well as overseas. 2016 Japan Arts Festival Award, Prize for Excellence.

Lucky Mai
– Japanese Traditional Juggling –
She studied under her father, Koji Lucky, a leading acrobat. She specializes in auspicious Daikagura acrobatics such as umbrella spinning and five-story teacups, and has appeared on TV, commercials, and at the National Engei Theatre and the comedy theater in Japan, as well as in Japan, and has performed overseas.
She has been conveying to the world the appeal of the traditional Japanese performing art of Daikagura acrobatics.
